Pure Distilling Barrel Chunks are cut from genuine, freshly emptied barrels sourced from distilleries around the world. After their time ageing commercial spirits, these barrels are repurposed into chunks ideal for home use.
Our Queensland Rum chunks are cut from genuine French oak barrels which originally had red wine in them. For the last three and a half years they have been used to finish off a Queensland Rum, resulting in a full bodied, rich rum with a distinct Australian profile.
Instructions – Recommended to soak on 2.5L of 40% ABV neutral spirit or vodka for 16-24 days.
